TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to withdraw services from any customer or dog at any time without prior warning. I.E if your dog attacks another dog or human. Although we are not legally required to provide Terms & Conditions, we have provided our Terms & Conditions for clarity and adherence to best practice. Provision of any services implies you have understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may be subject to change at any time without prior notification and it is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with them.
Please note - If a dog is found marking inside of the house, then a belly band will be used. If this continues, the emergency contact will be required to collect the dog.
At the arranged time and date the dog will be dropped and collected by the owners. In certain instances, a proxy may be appointed however, this will be pre-arranged before collection. ID of the proxy will be requested and the dog will not be released to them without. You will be asked to check your dog on collection. Once collected we cannot be held responsible for any injury or illness unless deemed wholly negligent.
All dogs must be fully vaccinated and be up to date with flea and worming treatment provided before staying with us. It is your responsibility to vaccinate your dog. Proof of vaccinations against canine distemper, infectious canine hepatitis, leptospirosis and canine parvovirus must be provided before arrival of their trial night or stay. This remains in effect even, if previously used our service.
Kennel Cough Vaccine is advised but not compulsory. If the dog has received this within 2 weeks of their due stay, we are unable to accept their visit due to this being a live vaccine.
You have informed your emergency proxy regarding your dogs stay with us and that they are aware of where your dog(s) are boarding for the purpose of any emergency, it is very important that you provide them with our details and are contactable 24 hours 7 days a week.
Your dog will be provided a collar with a Stay Furever ID tag identifying where it is staying and contact details for the boarder. If the owner wishes, they may use their own collar compatible with our tag as well as their own ID, at the owners risk.
All personal items are left at their owners’ risk. Whilst every possible care is taken to ensure these items will not be damaged in anyway, we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage attained.
You give consent for your dog to walk offsite on lead and with other dogs that are not from the same or different households and with the resident dogs unless previously agreed.
You give consent for your dog to be playing outside with other dogs not from the same or different households and with the resident dogs unless previously agreed.
1. NEUTERED MALES
We do NOT take intact male dogs who haven't been neutered.
Please be aware that dogs who are new to day care/boarding may experience higher levels of physical and mental stimulation than they are used to and therefore it is to be expected that your dog may come home more tired than usual. Your dog will be exercised off lead within the secure boundaries of Stay Furever but will be on lead when out on a walk. If you have any special requirements regarding your dog's exercise levels, please advise us prior to your dog's stay. No walking will be done in any extreme weather in the interest of the dogs health and well-being.
You give consent for your dog to be sleeping in the same room together, share a designated room whilst boarding at the premises with dogs not from the same or different households and with the resident dogs unless previously agreed.
My dog uses a crate and I request and consent to my dog(s) being crated only at night whilst boarded at Stay Furever, I specifically request that this routine is maintained. I agree for Stay Furever to provide a suitable crate for this purpose.
If your dog requires any medication ( I.E - Creams/Ointment/Sprays included) during their stay, we will only give your dog(s) their prescribed medication from a vet and with clear instructions provided at their trial or drop off.
All dogs are accepted at their owners’ risk. Whilst every possible care and attention is given to each dog, we cannot be held responsible for injury, illness, loss or damage unless deemed wholly negligent. Stay Furever should not be expected to suffer the financial loss of circumstances which occur outside of our control. Should your dog become sick during their stay we will contact you or your emergency proxy immediately and isolate your dog to prevent illness to others and ask you or your emergency proxy to collect immediately. Where this poses a risk to the life of a dog, they will be taken to the appointed vet as previously agreed in the booking and consents form.
No refund will be given.
We respectively ask you to be considerate of other boarding dogs and act with integrity if you notice anything unusual with your dogs health. Please do not knowingly allow your dog to be dropped off if they are unwell or have something you do not know what the problem is unless the vet has advised it is not contagious. Stay Furever reserve the right to ask for written evidence from a Veterinary Practitioner where needed. If you have been to a vet and the issue is not contagious and have been prescribed medicine/creams/medicated shampoo. Please advise Stay Furever immediately and prior to arrival. We strongly urge you to check your dog before dropping off as once they have been accepted, this could result in termination of the stay and no refund will be given.
We reserve the right to act in the best interests of the dog at all times, this includes seeking veterinary advice if they become ill during their stay. We will contact you or the emergency proxy immediately should your dog become ill. If you cannot be contacted within a reasonable time we reserve the right to seek appropriate and swift veterinary attention and proceed with treatment regardless of the costs, which you agree to cover. We will do everything needed for the dog as regards treatment, comfort and recovery. Any vet fees incurred during the dog’s stay will be covered by you, the owner.
Whilst every possible care is taken to ensure your dog is well looked after here at Stay Furever, it is entirely possible that they could have an IVDD episode due to the nature of the disease. This being whilst they are here or when they return to you. Through no fault of anyone's, sadly the rupturing process can happen over a period of weeks or in a moment and this can be undetectable. A dog that appears healthy and happy one minute can suddenly present odd symptoms and signs of pain. This means you agree to take the risk of leaving your dog but understand the risks associated with IVDD and that we cannot be held responsible for IVDD or damage unless deemed wholly negligent.
Stay Furever should not be expected to suffer the financial loss of cancelled bookings for circumstances which occur outside of our control. If it is at all possible for us to replace your cancelled booking with another dog, then we would be happy to refund your payment for the cancelled days we have been able to refill. We will of course let you know if we are able to achieve this.
If a customer cancels, we have a need to protect both our business and our livelihood. If your balance is due and you have cancelled less than 14 days from the date of boarding, the balance is to be paid in full. We endeavour to replace your booking with a new customer.
Where we are able to replace your original booking to another customer if you have paid any sum towards boarding we will reimburse you with such monies. If you are yet to make payment, nothing further will be required.
Any payments made are at your own risk.
